Black Hills Aerial and Cirque welcomes you to discover the exciting world of Aerial Performance and Fitness! We teach a wide variety of ages and skill levels starting at age 7 and up! We have youth and adult classes, from beginner to advanced. Fitness classes and private, one on one training.

Beginner Aerial 

This Beginner Aerial Silks class is described a challenging “vertical” skill that will tone, tighten and recruit every muscle in your body. You will learn to defy gravity as you climb, flip, wrap and drop in these gorgeous silk ribbons. This is a class for anyone who is interested in learning the basic skills of aerial silks. You will learn basic climbs, foot locks, poses, as well as strength training.

Mixed Level Aerial Silks

For students that have successfully passed or maintained attendance in our beginner aerial program with 6 months of aerial experience. You will learn to defy gravity as you climb, flip, wrap and drop in gorgeous silk ribbons. This is a class for anyone who is interested in progressing further in the process of learning the combinations of skills of aerial silks. You will learn more difficult climbs, foot locks, poses, as well as additional strength training.

Adult Beginner Aerial

This Beginner Aerial Silks class is a challenging “vertical” skill that will tone, tighten and recur it every muscle in your body. You will lean to defy gravity as you climb, flip, wrap and drop in these gorgeous silk ribbons. This is a class for anyone who is interested in learning the basic skills of aerial silks. You will learn basic climbs, foot locks, poses, as well as strength training. Minimum age of 18.

Aerial Hoop or Lyra

This class utilizes a metal hoop of different sizes, suspended from the ceiling that you will learn to perform different tricks and sequences in. This apparatus also is a fun challenging way to develop overall strength especially in the upper body and core muscles. We teach technique and grace while you float seemingly effortlessly in this beautiful spinning dance form. In this class we also provide training in the static trapeze, aerial cube, basic handstand and backbend skills, performance techniques as well as overall strength and flexibility.

Aerial Yoga

Aerial Yoga is a fusion of aerial hammock and yoga technique.  This class offers a full body workout that focuses on increasing flexibility and strength.  Aerial Yoga give students the opportunity to experience anti-gravity and suspension through flow exercises and inversions. This is a fun new way to get fit for beginners as well as experienced students. This class is a great prerequisite to other aerial classes and can be supplemental for current aerial trainees.

ConfiDANCE

ConfiDance is a fun, fabulous, fitness dance class. Designed to incorporate many forms of dance, avoid complicated choreography and focus on fun, flirty, and easy to follow moves that will allow you to unleash your inner diva and build confidence regardless of age, size or dance technique background. Get a full body aerobic workout, in a relaxed group exercise environment, where you can let your inhibitions go, get the results you want, learn new moves and meet some great people along the way.
